Au fil de l’Arve territorial and cultural project
In the context of the scarcity of land in Geneva, all emerging and independent cultural uses risk disappearing in favour of housing or offices. The Fil de l’Arve territorial and cultural project aims to meet the needs of emerging and independent culture. It considers the creation and performance spaces as real meeting and living places.
The Fil de l’Arve concept consists of maintaining existing actors and places along the Arve, reinforcing independent and emerging culture through the networking of new places and encouraging the activation and hybridisation of uses. This project favours the enhancement of the natural and post-industrial landscape, the recycling of industrial and modernist architecture and the progressive development over time.
